Our Mission
Our mission is to reimagine and adapt prayer wheels for the modern world and explore the creation of prayer wheels using all types of materials and processes. We partner with other artists and manufacturers to develop new and unique prayer wheels. Prayer wheels are incredible objects that really do generate positive vibes and remind us to turn our hearts towards compassion.
About Me (Founder)
I started practicing Buddhism in high school. I have visited India and Nepal several times and worked at a retreat center in the Sakya lineage of Tibetan Buddhism in Washington state for 8 years. I earned my BFA in painting from the Oregon College of Arts and Crafts in 2017. Now I work in the field of Tibetan art restoration. I am always seeking ways to blend my artistic practice with my spiritual endeavors. Prayer wheels are these amazing objects that really do generate joy and happiness. I have found support from my Buddhist teachers in trying to adapt and reimagine prayer wheels for the west. The form of a prayer wheel is so simple and yet there are infinite ways it can be expressed. In prayer wheels, there is space for me to explore my creativity and find my own voice while paying homage to the profound Buddhist traditions from which they come.
